Return from Holland

Fran and I have returned from Amsterdam.  It was fabulous and I have so many pictures and need to carefully sort through all we did.  We saw lots of museums, we hung out with Sophie, we meandered along the canals, we ate at little vendor stalls amongst frequent coffee breaks, we took trains, we shopped, we saw the flower market and enjoyed the crisp fall air, and stumbled upon the red-light-district. Travelling invigorates the bones, broadens the mind, and keeps stagnation at bay. I enjoyed it, especially seeing into the life of the Berkhout home and basking in the beauty of Dutch painters.  Love to Holland. More soon xx
